Its deep, earthy brown tone is not produced through traditional dyeing—rather, it comes from Foxfibre®, a naturally pigmented cotton grown organically on a single-origin farm in New Mexico, then enriched through a traditional iron mordant treatment. This process reacts with the cotton’s natural tannins, darkening and deepening the color, and will continue to evolve with wear, washing, and exposure to sunlight, developing a truly unique patina over time.
The Coyote 80 blend features 80% Foxfibre® paired with 20% organically grown Extra Long Staple cotton, resulting in a fabric that is extremely durable yet unexpectedly soft.
Knit in Wakayama, Japan, on low-gauge (10G) circular knitting machines, this double heavyweight French terry has a coarse, irregular exterior texture with large, plush loops on the inside for warmth, comfort, and breathability.
