Samurai Jeans S211BK "Koku-Benkei 17oz Slubby Black Relaxed Tapered Jeans

Crafted with slubby #5 rope-dyed yarns that are sulphur-dyed and woven at low tension on a vintage shuttle loom, this denim achieves a uniquely slubby look and feel. Aptly named Zero Denim or Bushido Denim, it represents a groundbreaking creation from the yarn-making stage.

Despite its black hue, this denim promises extraordinary fades, a characteristic typically associated with indigo denim. The low-tension weaving enhances the slubbiness, creating a distinctive texture. The weft employs an undyed ivory #5 thread, adding to the overall character of the jeans.

Featuring the Samurai S211 relaxed tapered cut with a mid-high rise, and stunning details that include 'Shogyo mujo' jacquard pocket lining, iron-made black pine buttons, copper rivets, and a cow leather patch.

As many other Samurai Jeans, the S211BK runs slightly small in the one wash version. In general, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage.

Samurai jeans have become a legend in the Japanese denim scene. Created in Osaka by Toru Nogami in 1997, Samurai represents the perfection of Japanese tradition, with its iconography of Sengoku-era Samurais and the search for the best and nothing but the best through materials, artisan garment-making techniques and unique detailing.
