It's a refined rendition of the coveted ONI Super Rough and Asphalt, which caused a sensation upon their 2023 release and quickly sold out.Ā The Crushed Concrete sets itself apart with a lighter weight of 14.7oz compared to the Super Rough's 20oz, achieved through the use of thinner warp and weft threads. This adjustment results in a denim that retains the signature aesthetic of the Secret Super Rough but with a slightly darker hue and a more breathable fabric, ideal for year-round wear.
Founder Oishi-San's ingenuity shines through in this creation, achieving an extreme texture despite the lighter weight. The fabric boasts an extraordinary slubbiness, characterized by a unique neppy surface. Its irregular yarn thickness creates a rugged, bumpy texture adorned with distinctive white cotton neps, setting it apart from conventional denim.
Built on the foundation of the 288 straight cut, a modern straight-cut silhouette that sits perfectly between the 622 and the 266, these jeans feature premium details such as copper buttons, high-quality pocket bags, heavy-duty bar tacks, a custom veg-tanned cowhide leather patch, and a fresh pocket flasher created specifically for this model.
This model have a standard sizing. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage. The waist will experience the typical stretching seen in ONI denim due to the low tension weave, although not as much as the secret denim. Expect approximately 1 inches of stretching.
