Located just 25km southeast of London, Dartford is best known as the place where Mick Jagger and Keith Richards crossed paths on Platform 2 of the local train station in 1961—an encounter that sparked the birth of the Rolling Stones. These jeans draw inspiration from the denim jacket worn by a young Mick Jagger during those formative, rebellious years, faithfully recreating the slightly yellowed tone, deep creases, and distinct fades that reflect a truly well-worn, lived-in character.
Crafted from Fullcount’s exclusive 13.7oz Japanese selvedge denim, these jeans pay homage to vintage fabrics from the 1940s and 1950s. The denim is made with long-staple Zimbabwean cotton, prized for its softness and durability, allowing for exceptional comfort and authentic fading over time. The stonewashing process brings out an aged look from day one—perfect for those who love the feel of broken-in denim with a genuine vintage soul.
As always, Fullcount incorporates its signature craftsmanship and premium detailing: custom metal buttons, copper rivets, a vegetable-tanned goatskin leather patch, and 100% cotton stitching, all contributing to a faithful vintage aesthetic. This new "Clean Straight" fit, born from the 30th-anniversary celebration, strikes a harmonious blend between the classic 1101 and the contemporary 1108. Mirroring the rise and hip structure of the 1101, it introduces a more tapered leg opening reminiscent of the 1108.
